We include technical guidance in the packaging to help prevent the most common fitting and system-related issues. Additional bulletins and documents can be found in the Tech Tips & Fitting Info section of this FAQ.
Hydraulic Steering Systems
Cleanliness of the hydraulic fluid is critical to system reliability. Unfortunately, many vehicle manufacturers do not specify steering fluid changes as part of routine servicing. Old or degraded fluid is the primary cause of age-related steering system failure.
For this reason, it is essential that the steering system is fully flushed and cleaned when replacing any component. Many systems also contain hidden, non-serviceable filters that can become clogged over time, leading to faults that are often misunderstood or overlooked by non-specialists.
Electric Power Steering (EPS) Systems
EPS systems, commonly found in newer vehicles, present a different set of challenges, including coding, calibration, and vehicle-specific setup requirements. For known fitting issues and model-specific guidance, we provide technical papers within the product packaging and online.

Simply submit an enquiry using the contact form, including details of the vehicle and the required component, if known. Where possible, please provide photos and a description of the fault. Based on this information, we will assess the scope of repair and provide:
An indication of repair feasibility
A base price estimate based on the expected work required
If, upon inspection, the condition of the part differs from the original assessment, we will contact you to discuss any changes before proceeding.
